Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) 1 To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:

According to GOD’s biblical calendar, this year we have celebrated the spring feast and are waiting for the fall feasts to arrive. Are we in the same season spiritually? Yeshua died and was raised from the dead during the spring feast of Passover and then at Shavuot He sent His Holy Spirit to us. We have been waiting ever since for His glorious return bringing His earthly reign so we may Sukkot with Him for eternity. I don’t know about you, but I can hardly wait. But waiting we must do.

Yeshua says we do not know the day nor the hour. Can we know the season? I think we can if we watch and wait. For this reason, the feasts are laid out the way they are to tell us what season GOD is in. If we want to know what season GOD is in, we should look no further than His calendar and His word.

There are approximately 16 weeks between Shavuot and Yom Teruah It has been approximately 2000 years since Messiah was resurrected from the death and sent HIS Spirit to dwell with us HIS temple.

There are many scriptures that refer to signs that we should look for to know the season Messiah is coming. I believe all believers should look into those scriptures and compare them with GOD’s calendar. This is very important to search these things out. It is also important to search out in scripture what we as believers are to do during this season as well.

One of the things we are to do is wait. How are we to wait? Patiently! Oh yes, I said it, that dreadful word patiently.

James 5:7-9 (NKJV) 7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

It is interesting that Jacob (James) uses the parable of a farmer. In this four-month season this is what the farmer is actually doing. What else are we to do while we wait patiently? Establish our hearts!

How do we establish our hearts? Having our hearts cleansed by the washing of the water with the word.

Ephesians 5:26-27 (NASB) 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

His word cleanses us and we will be holy and blameless at His coming. Praise GOD.

Revelation 22:17 (NASB) 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

We must listen to His word watching and waiting for His Return

Proverbs 8:34 (NASB) 34 “Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts.

We must be dressed in Readiness with our Lamps lit

Luke 12:35-36 (NASB) 35 “Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit. 36 “Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks.

How do we keep our lamps lit? Spending time in His presence and allow the fire of His Spirit to burn within us. We are His temple we must keep our menorah lit. Are we waiting at the door?

Luke 12:40 (NASB) 40 “You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”

We must be ready for our bridegroom’s return. See the parable of the ten virgins which encourages us to be ready.

Matthew 25:5 (NASB) 5 “Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep.

They fell asleep! Both the foolish and the wise. A lot of us are tired and weary but now is not the time to fall asleep because when we think Messiah delays He will come when we least expect it. May He find us awake standing at the door with our lamps lit.

While we wait patiently we must be overcomers.

Revelation 2:7 (NASB) 7 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes …

GOD repeats the phrase above in His letters to every congregation. Overcomers don’t quit!

Revelation 12:11 (NASB) 11 “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

Jude 1:20-23 (NASB) 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; 23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.

Our waiting patiently is an active waiting.

• We are to be seeking His heart and establishing our hearts

• Letting the word of GOD cleanse us so we may be a Holy bride without spot or blemish

• Abiding in Him.

• We are to be waiting for the former and the latter rain.

• Waiting at the gate and at the door.

• We are not to fall asleep but be ready and alert.

• Keeping our lamps full and lit. Allowing the Holy Spirit to fill us and set us ablaze

• We must be overcomers.

• We should love one another and have mercy on others

Acts 1:11 (NASB) 11 They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Yeshua, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

This is the season to be ready, watch and wait. For Messiahs return is imminent.

Today’s times are unstable and sometimes fearful, but GOD is the same yesterday, today and forever. Even during unstable times we can stand in faith on GOD’s stability. The story of Esther, for instance… what an awesome story of GOD's intervention! GOD used ordinary people like Mordecai and Esther to deliver their Jewish brothers and sisters from destruction. All the Israelites in Babylon participated in GOD’s deliverance as well. When the decree was sent forth by Haman, the enemy, to destroy every Jew in Babylon, the people humbled themselves, fasted and prayed to GOD for their deliverance. They did not first try to fix the problem themselves. They got on their knees and prayed. Even before Mordecai sent word to Esther, he fasted and prayed. At Esther’s first hesitation, Mordecai’s answer was definitely a clarifying point in her life. Esther 4:14: For if you fail to speak up now, relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from a different direction and your father's family will perish. Who knows whether you didn't come into your royal position precisely for such a time as this? (CJB).

We all know how the story of Esther ended. GOD gave Esther the position of Queen for such a time to bring deliverance to her people. Her reply to Mordecai was really what made Esther the extraordinary person she needed to be in this situation to help her people. Esther 4:16: Go, assemble all the Jews to be found in Shushan, and have them fast for me, neither eating nor drinking for three days, night and day; also I and the Girls attending me will fast the same way. Then I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish. (CJB) Esther trusted her GOD and was willing to go before the king of Persia uninvited even though such an act could end her life. She put her life in the hands of others willing to fast and pray for her. She obviously believed in the power of prayer; and GOD heard the prayers of the Jews and gave Esther favor. All Jews who fasted and prayed those three days took part in their own deliverance and were as central to that event as Mordecai and Esther. The people were unified through prayer. They all played a part in this wonderful story of Esther.

Now we live in a time when the enemy of our souls is Satan. Satan constantly tries to destroy believers both Jew and Gentile. Israel is being taken apart piece by piece, and Satan is stirring up more and more hatred for the Jews both believing and non-believing. The enemy not only wants to kill our bodies, but also to keep us from eternal life. GOD is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and He surely has situated people like Mordecai and Esther in positions for such a time as this. He has also positioned people like you and me to fast and pray for such a time as this. We are to pray for those people whether it be the President’s wife, your local representatives, or the teacher in your children’s’ school. GOD used fasting and prayer to deliver the Jews from Haman’s plan to destroy them. He is still responding to prayer to deliver many from the hands of Satan and into salvation through Yeshua.

John 17:20-21 (NASB) 20  "I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21  that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

The prayer of Yeshua is such an amazing prayer. The first time I read this prayer in John 17 I cried uncontrollably. It was enough that HE died on the tree for me a debt I could never repay. Before He laid down His Life HE prayed for us, those who believed the Apostles. HE prayed that we would be one with ABBA and one with HIM, so the world may believe that ABBA sent HIM

That day I cried out to the Adonai and said I can never repay you for setting me free but please use me to answer Messiah’s prayer. Because that was HIS heart desire. He is answering my prayer and ABBA will answer Messiah’s prayer.

In Messiah’s prayer HE gave us a blueprint for revival for souls to come into the kingdom.

John 17:23 (NASB) 23  I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

Yes go and  preach the saving grace of Messiah. When they hear and see us as one (GOD in MESSIAH and MESSIAH in US.) The world no longer sees us they see GOD and believe that HE sent is SON to die for their sin.

How do we become one in MESSIAH? Relationship getting close to HIM.

When YESHUA was raised from the dead and revealed HIMSELF as the Risen SAVIOR. MESSIAH appeared to them over the next 40 days. What a wonderful time that must have been for HIS disciples because they loved HIM. More important they drew closer to HIM. Their relationship with HIM became solidified.

Messiah promised when HE left HE would send us a HELPER.

John 16:6-7 (NASB) 6  "But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7  "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

MESSIAH instructed them to go and wait in Jerusalem for what HE had promised.

Acts 1:4-5 (NASB) 4  Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me; 5  for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."

So they waited and continued seeking Adonai until the Day of Pentecost.

Acts 1:14 (NASB) 14 these all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

Notice they were all with one mind (unity, oneness). They were one with MESSIAH and the FATHER.

What happen next was amazing! They were all immersed in the HOLY SPIRIT as promised by the FATHER.

YESHUA'S prayer was…

John 17: 21  that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

What happened next? Revival! Three Thousand Souls were written in the Lambs book of Life.

Acts 2:41 (NASB) 41 so then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.

It was not just the words that were spoken but it was the power of the HOLY SPIRIT they believe the FATHER sent HIS SON. Why? Because they were one in MESSIAH and MESSIAH was and is one with Adonai. They could no longer see the disciples they saw MESSIAH.

YESHUA told us how to be one with HIM.

John 14:20-21 (NASB) 20  "In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21  "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him."

How do we become one with HIM? We keep HIS commandments!

John 14:23-24 (NASB) 23  Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24  "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.

John 15:10-11 (NASB) 10  "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. 11  "These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

YESHUA’S and the FATHERS commandments are the same.

Matthew 22:37-40 (NASB) 37  And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' 38  "This is the great and foremost commandment. 39  "The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' 40  "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (NASB) 4  "Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! 5  "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
