One in Messiah
How God showed me what it means to be "One in Messiah".
TESTIMONY
I was recently reminded of a vision I had some twenty years ago. In that vision, Yeshua had His arms open and bid me to come to Him. So, I started walking toward Him. When I was very close, face-to-face, I took one more step and stepped into Him. I turned around, and you could not see me anymore; you could only see Yeshua!
There was so much peace!
John 17:21 (NASB 95)
21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
Romans 8:29 (NASB 95)
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
As believers, we want to be conformed to His image. Our desire should not be to be seen by others, but for only Messiah to be seen. The only way that can happen is through intimacy with Him: through prayer, reading the Word, waiting, and listening to His voice. Inquire, seeking what is in His heart for His bride. This takes discipline, which I find I don’t have every day, but the desire is there. I desire to seek greater intimacy with Him. I do miss Him when I don’t sit at His feet! If we want people to be saved and set free, we must sit at His feet. We must become one with Him. Then, and only then, becoming one with each other is truly organic; it is easy!

I had an experience that, I must admit, kind of scared me but was so awesome at the same time. I was at an IHOP restaurant, and a group of young college students came in and sat in the booth next to me. They were talking about Jesus, so I introduced myself and joined the conversation. I love talking about Jesus. At one point, while I was talking, I saw Jesus lean forward out of my body. He was talking to them; it wasn’t me. He let me see what was going on. I have never looked at ministry the same way since that day!
Yeshua showed me that we must spend time with Him, and we must also let Him do the work of ministry. We want only Jesus to be seen, not us. Today, make that decision to allow only Messiah to be seen.
Galatians 2:19–20 (NASB 95)
19 For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
