Preparing The Bride of Messiah for Our Bridegroom's Return

Highway Gospel of Peace Ministries

I). PROJECT BACKGROUND
Highway Preparatory School was set up to bridge the disparities in the education sub-sector amongst the endowed and less fortunate in society as well as to eradicate Jiggers (a parasite that attacks the skin), thus creating a happier, healthier and better life for the children. Highway School has so far been able to treat at least 200 jigger-affected children and on this premise, therefore, there arises the need for quality yet affordable education to pre-scholars who are drawn from the vulnerable persons in the community.

The vulnerable school-goers include amongst others, orphans children who hail from single-parent households, impoverished homesteads and the destitute.

The school is majorly a community-based project which is owned by Highway Gospel of Peace Ministries now a fulltime affiliate with Gospel of Peace ministries the USA and run on volunteer programs.

Currently, are serving 120 orphaned children who are in various classes from earlier childhood to grade 3. The children are both girls and boys between ages of 2-14 years respectively

II). MISSION:-To empower communal children through quality education, food, and good health car to yield a future community that is free from poverty.

III). VISION:-To be a leader in providing quality education, food and good healthcare in Kenya and beyond.

IV). MOTTO:-Education, Food & Good Healthcare for empowerment.

V). PROJECT LOCATION.
-The project is located in Kisii County which is part of western Kenya, approximately 8 hours’ drive from Nairobi City which is 600 Kilometers away from Kisii Town

VI). REPORT.-While we go house to house teaching the roots of Yeshua, we have earned a great experience among our local peoples. Our people are dying to believe man-made traditions and more importantly, young children who are the futures of our Africa nation are dying as the result of poor health care and education. With this attack, our people will never afford to listen to the gospel and instead we will be forced to something to make them feel comfortable first so as to listen to the gospel of peace that comes with a lasting hope in Yeshua. It is notable that this ministry has provided us the opportunity to learn more of the economic, social and physical needs of our people that need the gospel.

VII). CHALLENGES.
1.    Abandoned and orphaned young children will never afford to spare time to listen to the gospel since they are never comfortable because of jiggers (the parasite that attacks the skin) and malnutrition.

2.    Many people are lacking the true gospel which talks about the roots of Yahweh. Our people are tired of man-made tradition.

3.     Lack of teaching materials and Local native bibles since many wills
want to hear the scriptures in their own language (Ekegusii).

VIII). CONGREGATIONS.
1.    Have three (4) preaching points
2.    Have two (3) lay Pastors.

IX). NEEDS TO PRAY FOR:
1. Pray that Yeshua message of peace may get a place in the hearts of
our people including abandoned and orphaned children who suffer
parental loss as a result of HIV/AIDS in our community.

2. Pray for our four (4) fellowships to grow and become a channel of
Yeshiva salvation for many of our people here in Kisii, Kenya.

3. Pray for my family needs especially my children who are at school.
We need financial support to pay for their fees and be free to
preach the Yeshivas good news to the lost.

4. Pray for the teaching resources and Local Bibles. Our people are so
much excited with Yahshua's hope and they want to hear His promise in
their local language the (Ekegusii.)

5. Praying for our school and children financially. We have
a challenge of funds to help us set our local income generating project
to assist us to pay our workers and buy food for the children while at
school

6. Pray for more workers to come up and since the harvest is great.
Also, pray for our means of traveling if you can and our safety from
the enemy that keeps attacking Kenya in the name of terrorism.

X). SENDING DONATIONS
-As for the sending out donations to us as Yeshiva directs and blesses
your heart, please find my WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER ADDRESS BELOW.
I know this method is not the best one since you will be charged some
fees but we have no alternative as at now. Please keep on praying for
our work so as to be able to arrive at the best money transfer method
that is cheap and faster to help us better. Your gifts will be so much
appreciated and most welcome in Yeshua's name.
